Providence

After a very nice 3-night stay with the Rowley’s in Connecticut, we continued up North. It was actually hard to leave because the Rowley’s have a VERY comfortable guest bed and were very hospitable. Thank you Brad and Natalia!!

We stopped in Providence for some dessert. We found a charming French restaurant called Loie Fuller’s and shared very fluffy beignets and dark chocolate pot de creme. Yum!! The place was decorated an art nouveau flair with dim romantic lighting and interesting paintings on the walls. It was a neat place.

After dessert in Providence, RI we drove to a campsite at Wompatuck State Park about 45 minutes south of Boston to spend the night.
