This year has been quite a year with the Pandemic and everything being politicized. We won’t be going over anything in those departments. We have been recently using the Prius as a work truck and it does work great for carrying tools, ladders, equipment, hardware and much more. Not to mention transportation is very cheap comparatively to driving a truck or SUV. Skylar has started a small side gig doing Handyman jobs all over Orange County and has jobs almost everyday. He loves his clients and the work they have him do. He finds it a challenge and loves the accomplishments of completing task after task.
The Prius has been an amazing vehicle for transporting himself and all his equipment and everything fits in like a glove. Although the car can get messy at times it is still an easy vehicle to clean and reorganize. The trunk can fit two tool boxes, tool bucket, drill box and an air compressor. That is all in the trunk and still a lot more can be added with the lower compartment of the trunk. When a ladder is required for the job it’s easy to move the front seat forward and lay the back seat down to squeeze in the 17 foot compact ladder. Skylar often feels like the Prius was designed to be a work vehicle.
As a Handyman in the Socal area of Orange County Skylar drives all over the place and doesn’t need to spend lots on gas to get him to all the jobs he acquires. There aren’t many things that he wishes he could changed about the Prius in that it really is quite a capable car.
